Great burgers and COLD beer

Had the hot beef and Spanish stew. I thought they were both good, but my wife's hot beef was cold, and she wasn't a fan of the soup at all.

Local bar that has a friendly atmosphere. Paired with the cheap drinks and great food, this place is a must stop for anything from watching sports to a chill weekday night.

Didn't meet Ray himself but the people working there were really nice. Their hot beef sandwiches are really good. Good place to watch marathoners run past as you sit and drink alcohol.

Best homemade mustard ever! Try it on the hot beef, and the hot ham sandwich! We stop everytime we are in EC.

If you haven't been to Ray's Place. It's a must go to experience excellent hot beef or ham sandwiches. The bean and pea soup is AWSOME!!!

Rays is a place to go to enjoy the company of others, laugh and watch some sports. The Roast beef and stew is hands down the best ever and the Mustard should have its own website! Service is fantastic and everyone is always met with a smile and warm welcome.

Wow. Just wow. Just a waste of time and money. Whomever put the reviews on here must have been employees or friends. No plates, silverware, or even a menu. I just ate alpo.

Ray's place has been awesome since I was 5 years old, let's just say I'm up there now and his kids are hitting it just the same way as dad did. Must have a roast beef.

Are you kidding me quintessentially a dive bar but... better! Great food, genuinely friendly people, but the food.... try anything but the pizza it will be home made. Heck, the pizza is good for frozen

It’s not just hot beef and hot ham.... to be clear, it’s hot beef in a delicious gravy and it’s hot ham in a delicious gravy! With a slice of cheese if you prefer. DO NOT forget to use the horseradish mustard!! But use it sparingly if you haven’t tried it before!!! It is messy and you will use the pile of napkins they provide! Soups are a bonus! An EC gem!

Sandwiches are tasty but are way way overpriced!! If they would make them more affordable the way they used to be or even close they'd get more people stopping by 4 supper and a few beers. Cost my wife myself and one child 50 bucks for sandwiches 1 drink and 1 soda and no french fries or anything else.

Simple bar with good cheap drinks. Often a fun friendly atmosphere. I always get a hot beef sandwich when I'm there, they are delicious. They also make a horseradish mustard from scratch. Sometimes I go just to buy some mustard for my personal use at home. I've heard they're Spanish stew idea great also, but haven't tried it yet myself.

Nice bar with pool and few more games. Cool hangout place for a warm evening. Good chicken alferido pizza on a napkin plate ;)

Always the best place in EC. Diverse crowd, cool bartenders, simple food, low key atmosphere. IveI got a 20+ year history of "whenever I'm in town, gotta stop at Ray's"... It's iconic and never disappoints!

Nice quiet neighborhood bar and grill. Stopped in today for a famous Ray's hot beef and enjoyed it very much. I will definitely be going back for another one.

Food is great, but the bartender literally complained to me that I only tipped her a dollar for a pitcher. Not cool, the place is great but the way to get tips should be her next Youtube search.
